College Swimming!
The swimming world is ON FIRE right now!! So many fast meets in progress, including my personal favorite, the Women’s NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships! Georgia had a HUGE first day with wins in the 50 free, 500 free, AND 1 meter springboard diving!! Right now they’re leading the meet and I have high hopes for the Dawgs on Days 2 & 3!!

The Swim Swam and CollegeSwimming.com twitter feeds are also excellent resources with tons of updates, photos & video from the meet!
#SwimStreak
This week I had the honor of joining my fellow Atlanta triathlete, Adam Heiser, on his #swimstreak! Our Monday swim was Day 46 for Adam, who actually wrapped up the streak with a 5k ocean swim on Day 48 to celebrate 5 years clean and sober!
BIG congrats to Adam on the milestone and thanks for letting me join the fun! (You can read more about Adam’s journey on his blog.)
TYR Swim Set of the Week!
This week’s swim set is a variation of the Coach Maria set Adam and I did. I think it’s fun to do odd distances like 75s and 125s when swimming short course yards because the times are different, and you get to hang out on BOTH ends of the pool! What a treat!
Best of luck to everyone racing the Publix Georgia Marathon, Half Marathon, & 5k on Sunday! I’m sad to miss the race this year, but I’ll be cheering for everyone, especially the 17 (!!!) assisted athletes running with the Kyle Pease Foundation! So cool!!
