In my blog-world, those amazing uniforms definitely make up for the slight lack of water/ice in the pic! And even curlers need to stay well hydrated, right?!?
I may be a summer sports athlete, but I am SUPER pumped about the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Opening ceremonies kick off on Friday, February 7th. That means you have 16 days to GET EXCITED!!!
I LOVE the Proctor & Gamble “Thank You Mom” commercial. After watching it for the 1 millionth time on YouTube, I decided to check out some of the other P&G athlete features. I started with the skiers, Mikaela Shiffrin, Lindsey Vonn, and Ted Ligety. And then things just got out of control! I watched Evan Lysacek skate. I read all of the subtitles in the Felix Neureuther feature. Before I knew it I was crying over Canadian figure skaters Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir. I don’t even know how to figure skate!!!
All of the videos in the “Raising an Olympian” series are worth a watch. The stories are inspiring and I’ve become fans of athletes in sports I didn’t even know existed! I may not relate to competitions in snow and ice, but I can relate to the years and years of hard work and help from my mom! Check them out, and let me know your favorite! And of course, GO TEAM USA!!!

Love their suits! They’re LoudMouth Golf- who makes the craziest pants/suits/shorts. I have a fun skirt that I wore to cheer on my friend at Ironman and my boyfriend is sponsored by them (for his show, not because he’s a golfer) so he wears loud crazy pants all the time!
Looking forward to the Olympics too! I don’t have cable (or bunny ears) so I need to come up with a watching plan!
Haha, I’m in SAME situation!! Need to get a new antenna in the next two weeks!! And I had no idea those suits were from a golf company! I’ll have to check them out!! Thanks!!
